MONA VALE RESIDENCE | 2012

This project involved the major alterations and additions to an existing waterfront holiday residence.
Much of the building planning remained as existing, however there were substantial modifications in creating a contemporary residence from an existing 1970s clinker brick building with a low roof. The residence now opens up to the sky and water with soaring roofs in the living and bedroom wings allowing wonderful solar access and passive ventilation.
Home automation, water re-use, energy efficiency and passive solar design were important aspects to the design of this residence.
